Peruvian Customer Visits RUNTX Forklift Factory in China

Customer Factory Visit

A customer from Peru visited the RUNTX forklift manufacturing facility in China to inspect our production base, review different forklift configurations and discuss equipment options for future material-handling needs.

Buying industrial equipment from another country requires more than comparing specifications and quotations. For distributors, contractors and independent equipment buyers, one of the biggest questions is often whether the supplier behind the product is a real manufacturer with the production capability, technical support and flexibility needed for long-term cooperation.

Recently, a customer from Peru visited the RUNTX manufacturing facility in China for an in-person factory inspection.

During the visit, the customer was able to see different forklift configurations directly on the factory floor, including conventional diesel forklifts and LPG-powered models in multiple capacities. The visit also provided an opportunity to discuss practical purchasing questions face to face rather than relying entirely on emails, catalogues and online meetings.

For international buyers, especially those considering their first direct purchase from a Chinese forklift manufacturer, this kind of factory visit can make the sourcing process much more transparent.

Seeing the Manufacturing Base Behind the Product

A product page can show rated capacity, lift height, engine options and available attachments. What it cannot fully show is the environment where those machines are assembled, inspected and prepared for export.

RUNTX has been involved in industrial equipment manufacturing since 2006 and operates from a production base of approximately 35,000 square meters. The facility supports multiple categories of material-handling and construction machinery, allowing visiting customers to compare different equipment types in one location.

During the Peru customer’s visit, several completed and partially prepared forklifts were available on the factory floor. This gave the customer a much clearer view of machine size, chassis layout, mast configuration, operator compartment and different power options than a specification sheet alone could provide.

Buyers who want more background on the manufacturing base can also visit the RUNTX About & Manufacturing Base page.

Comparing Different Forklift Configurations in Person

One advantage of a factory visit is that the customer does not need to evaluate each forklift category in isolation.

The photos from this visit show several different machine configurations around the customer, including diesel forklifts and LPG-powered forklifts. For a buyer still deciding which power type or capacity is best for the local market, seeing the machines side by side can make those differences easier to understand.

A distributor, for example, may be interested in several capacity classes rather than one single model. A contractor may care more about durability and outdoor use. A warehouse owner may place greater importance on maneuverability, operating cost and daily convenience.

That is why direct comparison matters. The right forklift is not automatically the largest or most expensive one. It is the machine that fits the customer’s actual load, operating environment and budget.

For buyers evaluating conventional internal-combustion models, the RUNTX 3–5 Ton Diesel Forklift Series covers commonly requested capacities for general industrial and outdoor material handling. For customers who prefer LPG or dual-fuel operation, the RUNTX CPQYD LPG Forklift Series provides another option for mixed warehouse and yard applications.

Why Factory Visits Matter for Distributors and Smaller Buyers

Factory inspections are often associated with large distributors placing container-sized orders, but they can also be useful for smaller businesses.

A buyer purchasing only one or two machines still needs confidence that spare parts, technical documentation and future support will be available after the equipment has left China. Seeing the manufacturing base in person helps the customer understand who is actually producing the equipment and how communication works before a purchase is finalized.

For distributors, the value is slightly different. They may need to compare several models, check OEM or private-label possibilities and understand how different capacities could fit their local customer base.

RUNTX supports both single-unit purchasing and small-batch orders, so visiting the factory does not mean the customer must commit to an unrealistic fleet quantity. OEM/ODM discussions can also cover branding, body color, mast configuration, tires, attachments and other application-specific requirements.

This purchasing flexibility is particularly relevant for smaller regional dealers and independent buyers who want direct factory access but still need to control inventory and cash flow.

From Online Communication to Face-to-Face Evaluation

Most international equipment projects begin online. Specifications are exchanged, quotations are compared and questions are handled through email or messaging platforms.

That process is efficient, but for customers making a larger investment, an in-person visit can answer questions that are difficult to resolve remotely.

The customer can see how large the machines really are, compare operator space, inspect structural details and speak directly with the people responsible for the project. At the same time, the factory gains a clearer understanding of the customer’s local market, typical applications and purchasing expectations.

For RUNTX, factory visits are therefore not treated as a showroom exercise. They are part of building a more transparent working relationship before equipment is selected or customized.

A More Transparent Way to Start a Supplier Relationship

This visit from Peru is a simple but useful example of how international equipment sourcing can move beyond catalogues and price comparisons.

The customer was able to visit the manufacturing facility, see different forklift types in person and communicate directly with the RUNTX team before making future purchasing decisions.

For smaller contractors, warehouse owners and independent buyers, that transparency can be just as important as it is for a large distributor. A factory-direct purchase should not require the buyer to take unnecessary risks simply because the order quantity is small.

RUNTX welcomes both fleet customers and single-unit buyers who want to understand the equipment, compare suitable configurations and discuss export requirements before placing an order.

More factory visits, overseas deliveries and real customer application examples can be found in the RUNTX Customer Case Studies.

Note: To protect commercial confidentiality, the customer’s identity and specific cooperation details are not disclosed in this case.
